What’s the difference between galvanised and powder coated brackets?

Galvanised brackets are zinc-coated through a hot-dip process that provides deeper corrosion protection, making them a better choice for boats, trailers, coastal vehicles, and agricultural equipment. Can I use a wall bracket to mount an extinguisher in a vehicle?
