Description
This 4.5kg High Performance Dry Chemical ABE Fire Extinguisher is Mines Compliant and rated 4A:80B:E — meeting the fire extinguisher requirements of coal mining operations, heavy machinery, workshops, and vehicles. It is lighter and more cost-effective than a standard 9kg to achieve the 80B:E rating.

Fire extinguishers must be inspected every 6 months and serviced annually in accordance with AS 1851 by a licensed fire protection technician.
Note for Tow Truck Operators
NSW Tow Truck Industry Regulation 2008, Part 5 Clause 45 – 2(b) requires each tow truck used for accident towing to carry a foam or dry powder fire extinguisher of at least 4.5kg capacity, maintained in serviceable condition. This extinguisher meets that requirement.
